3 tips to prepare for a rainy outdoor wedding!
Everyone LOVES outdoor wedding; but all must have had the struggles - What if it rains? Will the rain ruin our big day? Anything to prepare for a rainy outdoor wedding?
- Prepare some quality parasols!
- You can always ask if parasols can be provided at the outdoor venue you are booking. See below gallery to know more about the parasol setting for guest areas.
- Go shopping for a customised gown!
- If your wedding date falls within the rainy season (i.e. between May and September in Hong Kong), you may want to purchase a comfortable wedding gown for outdoor happenings OR rent an outdoor-suitable gown for you to continue the photoshoot & ceremony even under the rain (without paying huge expense for gown compensation). Fingers crossed!
- Prepare transparent umbrellas for guests
- Lighting is very important for photos. When it's raining with darker sky, we require more light source than usual. In that case, using transparent umbrellas can absorb more natural lights for photos & they help bringing in more layers in the photos too! Umbrellas could be a nice choice for guest gifts to remember this special day as well!
